Memory Lane...
Andi recently discovered PLAYLIST.COM and I love it! She has great taste in music and the patience to dig through all the oldies and find the great ones! I just turn on her blog and listen ALL day! I LOVE music, ALL kinds! Now you would probably guess that that would mean that I possess some kind of musical Talent.....ummm.....NO! I cant play an instrument, I do sing but unfortunately for others it's in a key all of my own :) but the important part is.... tone deaf or not....I SING....At the TOP of my LUNGS :) Thanks, Andi for a WONDERFUL trip down Memory Lane... Funny how music throws you back into your memories...hits you in the face with emotion, can bring you to tears in minutes... and can instantly change my mood!
Today her John Denver songs evoked one of my most cherished memories...Dad's Minnesota business Trips! Ten hours driving all together listening to John Denver's greatest hits over and over again....all of us Singing along! Cherished times! Yummy NERDS blizzards from DQ! The Mall of America! Hotel Swimming Pools! Lots of Laughs!
Country roads
Country roads
Almost heaven, west Virginia
Blue ridge mountains, Shenandoah river
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
West Virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
All my memries, gather round her
Miners lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
West Virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
I hear her voice, in the mornin hours she calls to me
The radio reminds me of my home far a-way
And drivin down the road I get a feeling
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
West Virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads

I love it! The collage makes the whole thing! It was cool without it,but I think it is awesome. I'm glad you got it to come up. You will have to teach me how to do the collages. I am clueless in that department. Good work sister. We'll have to road trip again soon!
This is really cute! You must have used a digital scrapbook for this. If you guys are looking for a road trip, we'd love to see you ;-)
Ahhh, I love my sisters too. You're sisters are SO good looking. Ahhh john denver...the memories... love the collage.
